- The Sisters of St. Francis of Our Lady of Guadalupe originated in Gettysburg, SD, in 1969. In November 1991 the Sisters built a new home in Mitchell, SD in hopes of broadening their ministries and attracting new vocations. The Sisters of St. Francis of Our Lady of Guadalupe dedicate ourselves to the ideals of St. Francis and the compassion of Our Lady of Guadalupe. St. Francis teaches us to live, as Christ, among the people of our time. We proclaim the Gospel in a way which the Church and mankind truly need. Our patroness, Our Lady of Guadalupe, inspires us to have concern for the poor and underprivileged. We consciously and willingly strive to be of service to everyone. PRAYER REQUEST: Please pray for the April Rachel's Vineyard post-abortion healing retreat in April in the Rapid City area. Prayer for both the retreat team and those God is urging to seek healing is appreciated. Also prayer for our publicity outreach, that hurting women and men will be reached and moved to attend. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe next Rachel's Vineyard Post-abortion Healing Retreat in western SD will be held in late April. Because of Covid, the retreat will be virtual, which is a whole new experience for our local team. This approach has been used successfully in other areas of the US, so our team has good mentors to help plan. Nevertheless, please put the retreat team, the women and men who so need this healing, and the success of this retreat on your prayer list and in your hearts throughout this next 6 weeks!

ReplyDeleteI would like to request your prayers for the next Western South Dakota Rachel’s Vineyard Post-Abortion Healing Retreat which will be held this April. We ask that you please pray for the retreat team, the women and men who need peace and healing from an abortion, and the success of this retreat. We would appreciate it if you would keep this request in your prayers from now through the end of April.
